Dendritic Agate + sterling silver.
Dendritic agates are some of my favorite stones to use. People often mistake these stones for pressed flowers or think I've painted scenes onto these stones but they are actually totally natural stones! The pattern in each stone is created by iron and/or manganese oxide deposits inside of the stone. Each one unique and one-of-a-kind.
Each stone is wrapped in a fine silver bezel and set onto oxidized sterling silver sheet. Hand formed hoop with the sterling silver accents (made entirely from scrap elements I've been saving over time!) These are very lightweight and can easily be worn all day long.
Drop length: just under 2.5 inches long

Each piece of jewelry I make is made entirely by me in my home studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. I use traditional metalsmithing techniques meaning I cut, saw, solder, file, form + polish everything by hand (and torch!) While I may continuously bring certain styles back no two stones are ever identical so your piece is truly one-of-a-kind and meant for you.
