Dendritic agate + sterling silver earrings.
Dendritic agates are some of my favorite stones to use. People often mistake these stones for pressed flowers or think I've painted scenes onto these stones but they are actually totally natural stones! The pattern in each stone is created by iron and/or manganese oxide deposits inside of the stone. Each one unique and one-of-a-kind.
I wanted to make a pair of statement earrings that had a ton of movement. These are a continuation of my textured style I've been really inspired by, the texture is created from fusing sterling silver dust I've collected over the years onto sterling silver sheet. Each stone is wrapped in a fine silver bezel onto oxidized sterling silver sheet. Two sterling silver discs connect by a jump ring so these earrings can move freely.
Drop length: just under 2 inches long
