Garden quartz wrapped in a fine silver bezel and set onto sterling silver sheet. Hand-stamped details made into an original pattern.

Garden quartz is (one of) the most magical stones in the world to me. It is in fact quartz which usually is a clear mineral but this stone has multi-colored mineral inclusions. It’s also known as included quartz or lodolite. So the colors you see inside this stone that often resemble moss are actually little minerals that have formed inside of the quartz! I patina (darken) the metal below the stone so any of the clear quartz parts are darkened which really helps illuminate all the different colors and patterns of the minerals.

The cuff band measures 5.5 inches long with a one inch gap meaning this would fit a six inch wrist best but could be adjusted up or down slightly if you are close to this size.

I create my cuffs with three main things in mind: 1) are they comfortable? 2) Do they fit well to your wrist? 3) Is it lightweight? I want to be able to wear my cuff all day long without constantly feeling the need to adjust it or turn it back around on my wrist. My cuffs are slightly adjustable to accommodate a range of sizes however if the size listed here doesn’t work for you please reach out for a custom made cuff! A proper fitting cuff makes all the difference and I would love to make one for you.

Each piece of jewelry I make is made entirely by me in my home studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. I use traditional metalsmithing techniques meaning I cut, saw, solder, file, form + polish everything by hand (and torch!) While I may continuously bring certain styles back no two stones are ever identical so your piece is truly one-of-a-kind and meant for you.

To maintain the longevity of your cuff there is a little bit of an trick to putting these on - I hold the cuff opening to the side of my wrist and carefully scoop the cuff around my wrist. You can initially adjust the cuff to your wrist when you first try it on so it's contoured to your specific wrist but try to avoid doing this a lot, this strains the metal and over time constant strain like this can cause the cuff band to form a fracture and snap in half. I make these cuffs with a heavy-gauge metal so with proper care they will last you forever!
