Garden quartz is (one of) the most magical stones in the world to me. It is in fact quartz which is usually a clear mineral, with mineral inclusions. It’s also known as included quartz or lodolite. The colors you see inside this stone that often resemble moss are actually little minerals that have formed inside of the quartz! I patina (darken) the metal below the stone so any of the clear quartz parts are darkened which really helps illuminate all the different colors and patterns of the minerals.
Each stone is wrapped in a fine silver scalloped bezel and set on oxidized sterling silver sheet. Hand-formed sterling silver wire frames each stone. Hand stamped details line the thick-gauged ring band.
These stones while beautiful and so unique are hard to photograph! The full beauty really is revealed in the sunlight but I tried to capture the most universal lighting on these. If you need a little explanation of what colors you should be seeing the left most ring (size 9) has beautiful purple + mauve toned minerals, the next one (size 5.75) has peachy-orange minerals, the next (size 8) are mostly white minerals + the right-most ring (size 7.5) has these gorgeous deep purple minerals with pops of bright orange!
Approximate measurements: ~ 1 inch tall x .75 inches wide
Sizes from left to right: 9, 5.75, 8, 7.5
Your clicked size selection will show you the picture of the ring you will be receiving(you can also refer to the picture with listed sizes) It is one-of-a-kind and cannot be resized due to the potential of cracking the stone. As always, I am more than happy to share additional pictures or a video of this piece so you can get more perspective before you buy.
