Red Horn Coral (agatized fossilized coral) can be found just outside of Kamas, Utah and is roughly 300 million years old. The red and pinks seen in this stone occur when the corals organic material is replaced by silica and other ground-rich minerals.
I dubbed these earrings my River earrings. The little rivers that hang below the stone setting actually come from the center piece that's leftover from my Slot Canyon earrings! Each river comes from a different pair of my slot canyon earrings. They are super light and the textured silver shimmers beautifully in the light.
Approximate drop length: 2.25 inches long
Each piece of jewelry I make is made entirely by me in my home studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. I use traditional metalsmithing techniques meaning I cut, saw, solder, file, form + polish everything by hand (and torch!) While I may continuously bring certain styles back no two stones are ever identical so your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
