Crazy Lace Agate, sterling + fine silver
Crazy lace agate cut and polish in my lapidary studio. These stones are so beautfiul I couldn't decide which side to highlight so I cut a little window out in the back of each stone setting so you could admire the back side of the stone as well :) The textured hoops have 24k gold foil fused to the silver. Patina added to darken the metal and intentionally buffed away in the places I wanted to highlight and make shine.
These have a slight bit more weight than my typical styles but are still a tolerable weight - they weigh approximately 6.07 grams each. For comparison, my Sol earrings are 5 grams each and I consider those very lightweight.

I use traditional metalsmithing techniques meaning I cut, saw, solder, file, form + polish everything by hand (and torch!)
