Dendritic agates are some of my favorite stones to use. People often mistake these stones for pressed flowers or think I've painted scenes onto these stones but they are actually totally natural stones! The pattern in each stone is created by iron and/or manganese oxide deposits inside of the stone. Each one unique and one-of-a-kind.
I wrapped this horizontal dendrite in a fine silver bezel onto lightly oxidized and textured sterling sheet. Sterling silver bar accents sit below the stone. Simple, small, the perfect everyday necklace.
Hangs from an oxidized sterling silver chain that can be worn 16-18 inches long.
